<description>What a great idea! I impressed with the fact that you use the standard grocery shopping bag as the pattern, something that I never thought of, but also that the handles of the bag and the &quot;body&quot; of the bag are all of one piece. And what lovely fabric! It makes a lovely contrast for someone with poor vision for me to see. I will have to sit and think on how to sew this. I do all my sewing by hand since I am physically unable to sew by machine. Your photos are a big help!

I just realize. When I cut the fabric I can go ahead and cut it exactly the same size as the plastic bag that I am using as a pattern. Since this will not be an article of clothing that I plan to wear, it doesn&#039;t matter if the fabric bag is smaller than the original plastic bag. Yet, I should still have extra space for the seams, an important consideration for when one sews by hand. (I staple the seams together since I cannot see straight pins.) Then I iron the seam and then sew them.

Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
